Coconino Community College recently issued the following announcement.
Join the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra for a special behind-the-scenes experience that will take your appreciation for professional musicians to a whole new level. FSO flutist Andrea Graves will lead participants on a musical journey of live guest performances, lively and enlightening dialogue about the power of live music, and a sneak peek at how a show comes together from rehearsal to curtain.
This in-person Flagstaff class takes place over four weeks on Tuesdays, October 26, November 2, 9, and 16 from 6 pm - 7 pm, plus a special introduction to a Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra dress rehearsal at Ardrey Auditorium on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at 6:30 pm plus two free tickets to the Friday, January 21, 2022 performance!
Location will be split between a to be determined CCC classroom (TBD) and live locations with the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra.
Due to the recent increase in COVID 19 cases, face coverings (masks) are required at all times while on a CCC campus, including in classrooms and labs. Current guidelines regarding face coverings and other COVID protocols can be found on the CCC coronavirus web page, https://www.coconino.edu/coronavirus, and changes to the COVID protocols throughout the semester will be posted in this location.
