United Way of Northern Arizona recently issued the following announcement.
Date: Tue, July 20, 8 am - 12 pm (4 hours)
Our residents and flood response crews need assistance building sandbags this week. This is dirty, heavy work and you must be able to lift a 40# sandbag.
No more than 25 people are needed per 4-Hour shift. Closed-toe shoes are a must. Bring work gloves if you have them. Details of the assignment will be emailed to you upon registration.
