Flagstaff Regional Medical Center recently issued the following announcement.
The Bariatric Surgery Weight Loss Support Group meets on the first Thursday of each month from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. You mat attend virtually through a ZOOM video conferencing option. Please rsvp to confirm your attendance, before the support group begins.
You can expect a 30-minute education session by one of our staff members, followed by a 60-minute interactive open discussion and question-and-answer session.
These support groups are open to all pre-op and post-op bariatric surgery patients, regardless of where they have had surgery.
We also encourage patients planning on surgery to attend at least one support group prior to surgery.
Note: In the event of inclement weather, please call 928-214-3737 to find out if the support group session has been canceled.
