Arizona District 6 Senator-elect Wendy Rogers said a full manual recount and audit of all votes from the general election is needed due to what she believes were voting irregularities.

Rogers called for a recount in the state after Washington Post reporter Amy Gardner’s Twitter announcement on Nov. 11 that the Georgia Secretary of State's Office ordered a hand recount in that state.

“We need a hand recount in Arizona due to suspected rampant voting machine fraud,” Rogers said on her official Twitter account.

President Donald Trump has not yet conceded the election despite multiple media outlets calling the race and is demanding recounts and fraud investigations. As of Thursday, with 99% of the vote cast, former Vice President Joe Biden leading Trump 1,663,447 to 1,651,812 in Arizona.

“I find it hard to believe we are winning state House and state Senate seats, yet President Trump did not win statewide,” Rogers said to Media Right News. “Parts of our state uses the same voting machines and voting software that are rife with problems in other states. It can’t hurt to recount to get an accurate number to ease everyone’s mind.”
