Arizona ranks seventh in the United States with the most small businesses feeling the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, according to WalletHub.
Almost half of all Arizona businesses operate in industries that have been hit hard by COVID-19 and closure orders that followed, the Arizona Daily Sun reported.
The personal finance website looked at three main categories for its evaluations: small business financial conditions, impact and access to resources, and business environment and workforce support.
In another survey, WalletHub said they found that 35% of small business owners say their business cannot last more than three months in current conditions. And 87% say the coronavirus is hurting their business.
Arizona ranked 12th in states having the biggest increase in unemployment because of the pandemic, according to another study by WalletHub.
