Single lane closures will take place on North San Francisco Street in early September as part of the City of Flagstaff’s annual Road Repair and Street Safety (RRSS) program. The scheduled work, which includes street paving and pavement marking, will occur from September 2 to September 8. There may also be short-term closures at intersections along North San Francisco Street between West Cherry Avenue and West Columbus Avenue.
Motorists are advised to follow marked signage, exercise caution around work crews, and anticipate delays when passing through the affected area.
According to city officials, efforts are being made to reduce disruptions for residents and businesses during this period. Funding for the RRSS program comes from Proposition 406, a measure approved by Flagstaff voters in 2014 that established a $100 million, 20-year dedicated sales tax aimed at supporting road repair and street safety projects.
