Excelling in both competition and academics, Northern Arizona University student-athletes Maggi Congdon and Drew Bosley have been recognized as NAU’s Big Sky Conference Scholar-Athletes of the Year. The announcement was made by the league office.
The award honors 22 student-athletes from the Big Sky’s full-time members and football affiliates. To qualify, a student-athlete must have completed their intercollegiate athletic eligibility or be part of the graduating class, maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale, participate in a Big Sky-sponsored sport, complete at least two years of intercollegiate competition at their institution, and be a letter winner.
Maggi Congdon earned 16 All-Conference awards during her time at NAU. She holds five school records indoors and was an All-American in 2025 in the mile event after placing third at the NCAA Championships. Her achievements include setting Big Sky Conference records in various events and being named Most Valuable Athlete at the 2025 Big Sky Championships. Congdon graduated with a degree in civil engineering with a GPA of 3.47.
Drew Bosley set indoor school and conference records in the 3,000-meters event. He earned four All-American titles on track in 2025 and was named Big Sky’s Most Outstanding Performer at the indoor championships that year. Bosley also contributed to three NCAA National Championships for cross country teams during his tenure. He graduated with a degree in educational foundations with a GPA of 3.4.
