Jennifer George, co-founder and CEO of Northern Arizona Roof Services, was named one of five finalists for the sixth annual North American Female Roofing Professional of the Year campaign presented by QXO, according to a May 20 announcement. She is believed to be the first representative from Arizona selected as a finalist for this national recognition.

The award highlights women in the United States and Canada who demonstrate leadership, innovation, mentorship, safety, and dedication to excellence in roofing. More than 2,000 nominations were submitted across North America this year.

George previously served as Executive Director of the Arizona Roofing Contractors Association before launching Northern Arizona Roof Services. Her career has focused on industry growth, education, advocacy efforts with contractors and government agencies throughout Arizona. She is recognized for her community outreach work and her support for women entering construction trades.

“Her dedication to the roofing industry, commitment to strengthening the trades, and passion for supporting communities make her incredibly deserving of this recognition,” said Onnie Diaz, co-founder and COO of Northern Arizona Roof Services.

QXO said its Female Roofing Professional of the Year program celebrates women strengthening their field through innovation and service. Public voting runs from May 20 through May 29. The grand-prize winner will receive $10,000 plus tickets to major industry events; four other finalists will each receive $1,000 toward professional development.

According to the official website, the Greater Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce bolsters Flagstaff communities by fostering economic development and preparing the workforce. The Chamber also offers awards recognizing outstanding professional women in business leadership roles.
