The Flagstaff Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a special meeting on September 29 to continue its discussion of the Flagstaff Regional Land Use Plan 2045. This meeting follows two previous public hearings on the plan, which took place on September 10 and September 24. A virtual attendance option will be available for those who wish to observe remotely.

The meeting will take place at City Hall Council Chambers, located at 211 W Aspen Ave, Flagstaff, AZ 86001. During this session, the commission will review a list of conditions of approval for the Regional Plan before making a formal recommendation to the Flagstaff City Council. There will not be an opportunity for public comment at this meeting, as the public hearing phase concluded on September 24.

Community members are encouraged to attend the meeting and can continue to submit written comments about the Regional Plan by emailing RegionalPlan45Comments@flagstaffaz.gov. These written comments will be reviewed by the City Council during its upcoming hearing on the plan.

The Flagstaff Regional Land Use Plan 2045 is available online, along with interactive maps and additional information, at www.flagstaff.az.gov/RegionalPlan2045. The plan provides guidance for policy decisions over the next decade and is particularly important for future land-use and development choices.
