Dark Sky Brewing Company in Flagstaff is hosting a series of holiday events aimed at engaging the community and spreading festive cheer. The brewery has planned various activities, including wreath-making workshops, seasonal beer releases, and food drives to support local families and pets.
A highlight of the season is the return of “Flannel Buddies,” a popular beer created with Goldwater Brewing Co. This winter brew features ingredients like cinnamon roasted pecans and Mexican coffee. It is available at Dark Sky’s locations and Goldwater Brewing Co.’s outlets in Scottsdale, Mesa, and Tempe.
On December 5, Dark Sky will host a special edition of its First Friday ArtWalk from 5 to 9 p.m., featuring local art displays and live music by Jonathan Cady. The event will offer seasonal brews in a cozy atmosphere.
The brewery will also hold a felted animal ornament workshop on December 7, led by MoonSprout Earth School. Participants can learn needle-felting while supporting High Country Humane, as 25% of profits from the $45 ticket price will be donated to the organization. Tickets are available at here.
Another event includes a wreath workshop on December 10 led by Designer in Blooms. Participants can create custom holiday décor for $75 per person by contacting Antoinette via text or email.
Dark Sky Brewing offers prime viewing for Flagstaff’s Parade of Lights on December 13 from 6 to 8 p.m., allowing guests to enjoy seasonal brews as they watch the parade.
On December 14, pet owners can attend “Paws with Claus” for photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Donations are encouraged to benefit High Country Humane.
For New Year’s Eve on December 31, Dark Sky Brewing will extend its hours for celebrations with DJ entertainment and specials until last call at 11 p.m.
Weekly events continue throughout December with yoga sessions, bingo nights benefiting families in need, vinyl listening parties, beer flights paired with wings, trivia nights, and live music every Friday evening.
