City of Flagstaff to host Indigenous Peoples Day celebration on October 13

The City of Flagstaff is organizing an Indigenous Peoples Day celebration on Monday, October 13, 2025. The event, titled “From Policy to Prosperity: Indigenous Leadership in a Changing Landscape,” will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Elks Lodge located at 2101 N San Francisco St.

Vice-Mayor Doreen Garlid of the City of Tempe, who is Dine’, will participate in the event along with other presenters. The program will include cultural presentations through songs and dances. Lunch will be provided for attendees.
