The City of Flagstaff, Coconino County, and Mountain Line are collaborating to collect food and financial donations for the Flagstaff Family Food Center. The “Stuff the Bus” food drive is scheduled at Safeway located at 1201 S Plaza Way on Saturday, November 8, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Donations will also be accepted at this location on Sunday, November 9, as well as at the Safeway at 1500 E Cedar Ave throughout the weekend.

Volunteers will provide shopping lists to shoppers with information about which food items are most needed. In addition to contributing food or funds, community members can volunteer by greeting shoppers, sharing details about the event, and accepting donations. Those interested in volunteering can sign up through this website: https://hotfood.volunteermatters.org/project-catalog/56.
