The City of Flagstaff’s Stormwater Section is set to begin restoration work on Cheshire Pond in November. The pond, located in the Cheshire Park area north of the Museum of Northern Arizona, will undergo a project that is expected to last several months and conclude in 2026.

As part of the restoration process, access to the area will be restricted and use of the FUTS trail near the site will be limited for the duration of the project. The goal of the restoration is to improve both the pond environment and conditions for local wildlife.

For further information or questions about the project, residents are encouraged to contact the City of Flagstaff Stormwater Section at 928-213-2473.
