Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona Health Choice has announced a $75,000 contribution to Housing Solutions of Northern Arizona. The funding is intended to help up to 50 households in the region secure stable housing and provide HVAC system upgrades for 14 homes. These efforts aim to address some of the challenges families face in areas like Flagstaff, where housing costs are among the highest in Northern Arizona.

Dr. Heather Carter, CEO of AZ Blue Health Choice, said, “Strong communities start with strong foundations—and housing is one of the most critical. We’re honored to support Housing Solutions of Northern Arizona in their mission to provide stability and hope for families.”

The initiative is part of AZ Blue’s broader approach to addressing social factors that impact health outcomes. The organization emphasizes that health is influenced by more than medical care alone; having access to safe and stable housing plays a significant role.
