ABC Supply Co., Inc. announced on Apr. 1 a new naming structure for its family of companies, aligning L&W Supply and Town & Country Industries under the ABC Supply brand.

The company said this change is intended to clarify its offerings across major building-envelope categories, including exteriors, interiors, and outdoor solutions. The renaming will not affect customer accounts, pricing, systems, service levels or the teams that customers interact with.

According to the announcement, L&W Supply will now operate as ABC Supply Interiors and Town & Country Industries will become ABC Supply Outdoor Solutions. The parent company name—ABC Supply Co., Inc.—will remain unchanged and continue focusing on exterior products.

“For more than four decades, making it easy for contractors to do business with us and get their jobs done has been at the core of ABC Supply,” said Mike Jost, President and Chief Operating Officer of ABC Supply. “We’ve supported customers across exteriors, interiors and outdoor solutions for years, and this name change reinforces our commitment to serving them across those categories with the same support from our local teams.”

The company stated that each division will maintain its specialty focus along with dedicated teams. Updates to digital and physical branding materials are planned to roll out in phases in order to minimize disruption.

L&W Supply has operated since 1971 as a distributor of interior building products such as wallboard and ceiling systems. It was acquired by ABC Supply in November 2016. Headquartered in Beloit, Wisconsin like its parent company, L&W operates more than 270 branches nationwide.

ABC Supply is recognized as North America’s largest wholesale distributor of roofing and select exterior/interior building products. Since its founding in 1982 it has focused on serving professional contractors through product availability as well as support services such as myABCsupply online ordering tools.
